Who am I?

My name is Calvin Irby and I am a Professor who specializes in both learning and technology. I’ve received degrees in both Epistemology (which is the study of learning) and also Information Technology (the study of systems). I have a lot to say about Learning so I made this site to create High Quality courses for the world! 

What’s the Main Subject of this Site?

This site’s focus is on studying better. How to study better and all the different tools, techniques, and complexities that go along with the learning process. 

Are you a Real Person?

Well of course! I created the artwork above using a site called PixilArt, if you’re wondering about that. All of my work is done by myself and none of my material is generated using AI. I have to be up front about this, because I want my students to know that all of this content is hand crafted by myself. 

As an Educator, what’s your stance on AI?

Since all my coursework are projects. I made sure that none of my courses can be completed using AI. This is a philosophy as a teacher which is Project Based Learning. I do in fact use AI tools for researching in my Day Job and personal life when the situation is appropriate. However, for the content of this website everything was handcrafted by myself.
