In the course creation process, I take pride in producing High Quality Courses that are actionable and require practical experience for the students to complete. Here are the main steps that guide my process whenever I am formulating a new course.

Step 1 - Identify a topic

In this step I spend many weeks asking, researching, watching, and listening to my environment to see what is an area of focus that people need assistance learning in. Identifying the topic and the key research questions is of paramount importance to all that I do as a course writer on this website.

Step 2 - Finding the best books on the subject.

Next, I will go out and locate the best resources. Bookstores, Online Bookstores, the public libraries, journals, articles, or anything else that I need to gain enough knowledge to answer the key question that I am trying to solve.

Step 3 - Taking Notes.

After finding all the information needed. I will sit down and spend weeks and probably months taking notes on the information gathered. This requires careful attention to what is important and abstracting away key lessons and concepts from the information gathered.

Step 4 - Assembling the course.

Following, after I have finished taking notes, I will sit down and reflect on what is the most important and present the information in the methods or way I think are most effective for learners.

Step 5 - Creating the Artwork.

In this step, I will sit down and paint/draw/sketch whatever needed graphics or supplemental artwork that is needed for the course. It’s the most creative and most fun part of the creation process.

Step 6 - Publishing the course.

Lastly, publish! I take all of the work that I have done and create a single experience for my students to follow. This sometimes requires other steps like myself filming videos or going over specific parts of the course.
