#69 - Changing Blogs to Updates
Hello Everyone!
I wanted to update everyone on the next part of my creative writing series called Universal Themes. It was all based on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and how as an individual the main character goes through different dungeons or levels that could be seen to represent different parts of life. I really liked this train of thought because the game is a lot about growing up and experiencing adulthood and there’s many ideas/themes that seem universal.
Let’s get something straight though, Ocarina of Time, IS the best scored game of all time. It has an unbeaten score on Metacritic of 99. And I don’t think it can ever be beated because it’s the pioneer of 3D Adventure. Not only that, but it made just a perfect first product in this new genre that I cannot fathom how on Earth the designers possibly did this. Truly a Masterpiece in it’s own right.
The next themes that I was going to talk about are: Conflict and Celebration. And these are the last ones and I wanted to get this series over with so that I can have some closure with this series. Conflict is the first one and this is represented by the duality of the Sand or Spirit Temple in Ocarina of Time. The last theme that I wanted to address was celebration. And this is the Light Medallion or Light Temple that is the Light Realm that Link sleeps in. I had to find a connection with this one since there is a Medallion associated with and so celebration was the only Universal theme that I could think of.
So that's that. I don’t really want to continue to write to anyone on this page as a blog. Because it doesn’t really benefit me as a Course Creator here on this website. Blogs are going kind of out of business with AI and so If somebody isn’t already established and on Youtube or some other platform so they are going to have a tough time. So this page is going to be reserved for updates on the website just to inform users. I’m also doing this because the web service that I use is very poor for displaying blog content and so it’s not in my best interest to continue this.
